For many mental health and addiction challenges for which people seek therapy, research has demonstrated that virtual and in-person services are equally effective. In some instances, based on the severity of a problem or a person’s therapy goals, in-person services may be advised. The psychologists at Recovery Paths would inform you if this was their professional opinion after learning about your situation, symptoms, and needs.
Some people may have or develop a preference for either virtual or in-person therapy. If you feel like virtual therapy is not a fit for you at any time after receiving services from us, we will explore options with you that may better suit your needs.
